DESCRIPTION:Stockholmsmentor is a mentorship program run by the City of Stockholm. Through the program\, newly arrived expats can find a mentor who is well-established in the Swedish job market. The duration of the program is 6 months\, with one meeting per month. \nThrough the mentorship program participants will: \n\nBroaden their professional network in Stockholm\nGain insights into Swedish working life and business culture\nPractise their Swedish in a professional context\nGain knowledge about the different available avenues into the Swedish labour market\n\nThe program is held a few times per year\, and there are a few open spots on the next program. \nAt this event for SDCN members\, representatives from Stockholmsmentor\, will introduce the program and explain how it works. \nPlease note that: \n\nYou need to have a valid residence permit to qualify for the program.\nGetting a place at this event does not guarantee a place in the mentorship program.\nIf there are many applicants\, residents of the Stockholms stad municipality will be prioritized.\n\nPlease sign up no later than the day before at 12:00\, if you would like to join.
