Additionally\, you will have the opportunity to receive feedback on your application materials and even practice for job interviews. Remember to bring your laptop and any relevant work you are currently engaged in. \nBy attending these sessions\, you get: \n\nPersonalized assistance with your CV\, cover letter\, LinkedIn profile\, and other career-related aspects.\nA supportive environment where you can connect with fellow job seekers who are facing similar challenges.\n\nThe Career Support Group meets every other Tuesday from 13:30 to 15:00. DESCRIPTION:Many SDCN members have attended Jobbsprånget’s internship programs\, and expressed how valuable they have been. Now’s your chance to learn more about how Jobbsprånget works and how to apply! \nJobbsprånget is Sweden’s largest internship program for newcomer academics. Since 2016\, they have connected over 4\,300 foreign talents with over 700 participating employers. 7 out of 10 of participants get a job. \nJobbsprånget is a four-month internship program targeted at people born outside of Europe with a degree (bachelor or higher) in engineering\, IT\, architecture\, science\, pharmacy\, business/finance\, HR or communication. \nA Jobbsprånget internship will speed up the process of entering the Swedish labor market\, and gives newcomers a chance to show their potential. Based on their solid experience of building relationships between talent and employers\, Jobbsprånget matches potential employers with relevant candidates who are currently outside the job market\, and also helps candidates in building required skills. \nAt this event\, you will meet Laras Piniji and Rachna Sharma from Jobbsprånget\, who will tell you more about the program and how to apply. Or maybe you just want to turbo-charge your Vitamin D levels after months of Nordic winter? \nJoin us for a relaxed afternoon paddling on beautiful Brunnsviken\, or for a peaceful picnic on Brunnsviksbadet beach if your relationship with water sports is… let’s say\, “complicated.” \nKayaking on Brunnsviken: Bring your own kayak or SUP\, or rent one here (single and double kayaks available; just book in advance!). \nPicnic at Brunnsviksbadet Beach: Prefer staying dry? Absolutely fine! Set up camp at the beach for a cozy afternoon.
