Robert Egnell new Chair of the Board

On Monday 18 May, Stockholms Akademiska Forum held its annual general meeting. At the meeting, Robert Egnell, Vice-Chancellor of the Swedish Defence University, was elected as the new Chair of the Board. He succeeds Lars Strannegård, President of the Stockholm School of Economics, as Chair.
We welcome Robert Egnell and would also like to extend our warmest thanks to Lars Strannegård for his work as Chairman of the Board over the past 10 years.

Stockholm Ph.D Academy – supporting international doctoral students
With support from Tillväxtverket - The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, we are launching the Stockholm Ph.D Academy pilot project in autumn 2025 – a new programme to help international doctoral students find their way in the Swedish labour market.
Stockholm Student Academy has started!
250 international master students from 9 different universities met yesterday in Aula Magna at Stockholm University. This was the start of a program that runs throughout the autumn semester, with the aim of giving the students the tools they need to establish themselves in Sweden after their studies.
