Liljevalchs Art Gallery Visit
Liljevalchs+, Falkenbergsgatan 3, Djurgården
Join SDCN for a Cultural Monday!
Experience the compelling works of contemporary artist Carola Grahn at her solo exhibition, Drick Drick, hosted at Liljevalchs in Stockholm (Stockholm’s largest and oldest art gallery).
Date: Monday, April 28th
Time: 13:00 onwards
Location: Liljevalchs+, Enter via Falkenbergsgatan 3, Djurgården
In Drick Drick, Grahn transforms ordinary objects into symbols of personal experience, social critique, and collective memory. The exhibition features large-scale installations, including an overflowing glass, a joik machine, brooms, and 17 engraved knives. Grahn’s works poetically address social issues, colonialism, and the individual’s place within broader cultural contexts.
This is a community event for SDCN members. Partners/family are also welcome to join. Please sign up if you would like to come.
