Outdoor Painting Workshop – Madhubani Art
Join us for a meditative and relaxing afternoon at Hagaparken and learn Madhubani Art!
Madhubani Art is a simple line drawing with motifs and patterns filled in by bright earthy colours. The motifs are inspired from the surrounding nature and everyday life.
What we will do: We will start with a little introduction to this artform. Each one of you will then get to create our own painting and take it home with you. You do not need to be an expert or need no previous experience; we will guide you through the entire process. Just come with an open mind and enjoy yourselves in the sunny outdoors and let your creativity flow.
Date: Saturday, May 17th
Time: 14:00 – 16:00
Location: Hagaparken, we will meet at Koppartälten and then find a place to sit under the trees.
Things to carry: a picnic mat to sit on in the park. Some drinks/snacks (optional). You will be provided with all the drawing/painting material.
This is a community event for SDCN members. Partners/family are also welcome to join. Please sign up if you would like to come.
