Stockholms Akademiska Forum is a collaboration between 17 higher education institutions in Stockholm along with the City of Stockholm.

We promote Stockholm as an international academic destination.

Our mission is to ensure that international researchers and students find Stockholm and want to stay here. By doing so, we contribute to a richer Stockholm and Sweden. We do this, among other things, through Stockholm Dual Career Network and Study in Stockholm.

We are a unique organization, bringing together 17 higher education institutions with the City of Stockholm. We are driven by a deep conviction that international talent in academia and across the city strongly contribute to Stockholm’s innovative development.

Stockholm Dual Career Network works to attract and retain the best international researchers by providing support to their partners. SDCN introduces its members to the Stockholm job market, helps them understand Sweden, and connects them to networks and friends. SDCN is a benefit for international staff at universities in Stockholm that strengthens employer branding.

Study in Stockholm is a portal where all universities and university colleges in Stockholm are presented together for international students. Through the stories of international students, it profiles Stockholm as a student city. Here is also the place for Stockholm Student Academy.
